2025 will see some changes to the Annual Ward 5 Music Festival ~ Songs from The Hill, Councillor Cilevitz’s scheduled summer music festival, to best accommodate the unpredictable climate-change weather and, to best deal with Councillor Cilevitz’s ongoing Long Covid health concerns.

Two separate events will take place indoors in the evening:

• Saturday evening, May 24, 2025 – Songwriters from The Hill, featuring Gregg Lawless and Soul Maitre D’s
• Saturday evening, October 25, 2025 – Voices from The Hill featuring Opera Revue and Luminis Choir

Both events are FREE to the public, all-ages friendly, will feature door prizes, and will include an intermission between the first and second acts which will be catered on-site by Encore Catering, to be enjoyed by all!

Funds raised for both events will once again support 360Kids and the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank. For both events, attendees are asked to please bring with them a non-perishable food item/personal hygiene products and/or a cash donation to give to either and/or both of our two deserving local charities.

All funds raised for both events, with grateful thanks to all Songs from The Hill generous sponsors and, after all expenses are accounted for, will be disbursed to both charities at the conclusion of the Music Festival.
