About the Art Exhibit:
This special art exhibit is part art show and part educational experience. The show will feature ten different artists and thirty ink paintings. These paintings were all made with ink produced from locally foraged plants and trees materials found right here in Richmond Hill. You will be amazed at the variety of rich coloured inks that can be made from local plant and tree materials. Discover and learn what colours can be made from black walnut, sumac, wild grape, acorn caps, goldenrod, beech leaves, and buckthorn and then marvel at the ink paintings that feature how this ink can be used to create art.
This project is a recipient of a City of Richmond Hill Community and Culture Grant.
