Event Details:

A presentation and discussion about what exciting celestial events to look for each season. This evening we will be Celebrating Winter Solstice- Geminids Meteor Shower. The events and phenomena will be explained using simple language, with recommendations about how best to observe and photograph them.

After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to view through alternate telescopes outside (Weather Dependent), while interacting with RHDDO Astronomers!

Ages 10 years and up (participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult).

Pre-registration is required.

Important Notice: The Observatory Dome/74” telescope is currently undergoing restoration and will not be available for this program.
